ALL ABOUT ROOTING

What is ROOTING???
Benefits of rooting your Android.
What is ROOTING:
So maybe you have been hearing your friends say that they want to ROOT their Android devices, and you were staring at them completely lost as to what rooting an Android phone means? You need not worry any longer as am going to explain to you in details what rooting your device means.
ROOTING EXPLAINED: Rooting is essentially the complete opening of your device. See it that your device is wearing a cloth, when you root your device, you make it COMPLETELY NAKED. Lol. This means that you are able to see all that your device is able to do (including the ones your device manufacturer didn't want you to see), and you are able to now tweak your device as you want. This means you have now been granted a "SUPER USER" permission in your device,
which enables you to unapproved apps by Google, overclock/unde-rclock your device processors and almost anything you want to do on your device.

ADVANTAGES OF ROOTING:
1) You Can Install
Custom ROMs: Custom ROMs comes with more functional apps and they also enable some functionality disabled in the phones STOCK ROMs.
2) You Can Install Special Apps: Most of the apps that require root access have more pronounced functionality. Apps like Droidwall, Greenify, etc are some of the few apps that allows you do more with your device.
3) Ad Blocker: When you root your device, you can now block ads in some apps which can be very annoying, and can also make your device slow and sluggish.
4) Power To Uninstall Pre-Installed apps: When you get your device, there are some apps you rarely get around using. These apps consume RAM space and consume data. With Root access you can uninstall ANY app you want.
5) Android OS Updates: Google is always updating its mobile Android OS, but this update doesn't come at once to all devices. So with root access, you manually download these OS updates and then flash these updates to your phone.
DISADVANTAGES OF ROOTING:
For every good, there's a bad equivalent. So rooting your device comes with its disadvantages.
1) Bricking Your Device:
Bricking! Bricking!! Bricking!!!
The fear of bricking your device is the first stage of caution while using a rooted phone. Simply put, bricking your device means that your Phone is now just about as useful as a brick in your hands. A bricked phone is COMPLETELY useless, as u cannot do anything with it. You can brick a rooted phone when you try to tweak it. Generally, whenever you want to tweak your phone, make sure you follow the procedure to the later and ensure that the procedure works for your device and ROM.
2) Losing Your Warranty: Get first thing you should know about rooting your phone is that it voids your Phone manufacturer's warranty. Most manufacturers give a one year warranty on all new devices bought, but if you root your device before this one year goes by, you lose this warranty.
3) Exposion To Malware: With rooting your device, you might expose yourself to malicious applications, since you can now install apps not sanctioned by Google. Some of these apps might be malicious, so it's advised that you get a good antivirus for security reasons.
So here you have it, it's now left for you to decide if you will root your Android devices or not.
